Description
Job Summary:
The Mammographer (MAMMO) position is located in Santa Rosa, California. This role involves performing mammography procedures in accordance with facility protocols and standards. The selected candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images while adhering to patient safety and comfort guidelines.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid California license; 1 year of mammography experience; certified in ARRT Mammography (ARRT M) and ARRT Radiography (ARRT R); BLS certification; experience with 3-D Mammography, Digital Mammography, Stereotactic Biopsy, Needle Localizations, and Radiation Safety.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting system; prior work in community hospital settings; advanced mammography skills such as Hologic 3D and Affirm BX.
- Additional Information: The role requires working in a facility with 2 patient rooms, and a daily visit volume of 20 patients. Flexibility to work two of the three major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year) is expected. Candidates must have a valid California license in hand and be willing to float within the hospital or nearby affiliate facilities as needed. References covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years are required.
