Description
Job Summary:
Polysomnographer in Bozeman, Montana. This position involves performing sleep disorders testing, including setting up and monitoring sleep studies, scoring polysomnograms, and educating patients on sleep disorder diagnosis and treatment. The role requires independently managing sleep lab equipment and providing high-quality patient care according to established policies and procedures.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts with 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an AMA approved school for respiratory care or nursing, Montana Licensure (Respiratory Therapist) or Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse), American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (BRPT) certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of 24 months experience in sleep disorder testing with routine EEG preferred.
- Additional Information: This facility reserves the right to cancel up to three shifts per 13-week contract in case of low census or unforeseen circumstances. Candidates must reside at least 90 miles away from the facility.
