Job Summary:
Radiation Therapist in MCMINNVILLE, Oregon. This position involves delivering radiation therapy treatments within a small community cancer center. The role requires working with diverse patient populations, including geriatric and adult patients, and supporting various operational duties as part of a close-knit team. The position offers an excellent opportunity to apply radiation therapy skills in a dynamic setting with a focus on quality patient care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of Radiation Therapy program; Oregon licensing; 1+ years of experience in radiation therapy delivery, quality assurance processes, and CT simulation.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with TrueBeam Linear accelerator, GE Discovery CT, and Aria/Eclipse treatment software; familiarity with common diagnoses/treatments.
- Additional Information: Must enjoy working as part of a small team and demonstrate versatility with duties. Responsibilities may include transporting patients, sitting at the front desk for short periods, assisting nurses, and making reminder calls. Excellent team fit and willingness to support various clinical operations are essential.
