Job Summary:
Radiation Therapist position in a 60-bed acute-care facility located in McMinnville, Oregon. The role involves delivering radiation therapy to geriatric and adult patient populations within a small community cancer center. The position offers a full-time schedule with standard daytime hours and requires a commitment to collaborative patient care and versatility in duties.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Dayshift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Completion of a Radiation Therapy program, Oregon licensing, one or more years of experience in radiation therapy delivery, QA processes, and CT simulation.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with common diagnoses and treatments related to radiation therapy.
- Additional Information: The candidate should enjoy working as part of a small team and be willing to assist with various operational tasks such as patient transport, front desk duties, and supporting nursing staff. Familiarity with equipment including TrueBeam Linear accelerator, GE Discovery CT, and treatment planning software (Aria/Eclipse) is advantageous.
