Description

Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a X-ray Technologist in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This position involves operating diagnostic radiologic equipment to produce radiographic images of the body, including specialized imaging such as mammography, computerized tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging. The role requires delivering high-quality imaging while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program; registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); current CPR Certification; 0 to 1 year of related experience; knowledge of radiographic exposure techniques and protocols, CT, mammography, and MRI technical principles; ability to properly administer pharmaceuticals intravenously; effective interpersonal communication skills; ability to organize and prioritize work; attention to clinical and numerical detail.
  • Preferred Qualifications: N/A
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: The Radiologic Technologist will position patients, explain procedures, administer pharmaceuticals, practice radiation protection, adjust equipment to produce optimal images, perform quality control checks, and maintain examination rooms and supplies. The role involves independent judgment in planning operations and working directly with patients and healthcare staff.
