Description
Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) position located in Ottumwa, Iowa. This role involves providing inpatient occupational therapy services to geriatric and adult patients with general diagnoses. The therapist will work on the 2nd floor of the facility, focusing on evaluations and treatments with a flexible schedule and responsibilities including coverage from ARU to MS units as needed.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days, 8 hours shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Accredited degree from Occupational Therapy school, licensed in the state of Iowa, 0-1 years of experience
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified
- Float: Float rotation may be required from ARU to MS to cover evaluations and treatments as needed
- Additional Notes: The unit has 13 beds in ARU and 24 beds in MS; patient population includes geriatric and adult patients with general diagnoses. Must adhere to facility dress code (scrubs in any color), and unacceptable attire includes pajamas and torn clothing.
