Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a licensed Operating Room (OR) Obstetrics (OBSTETRICS) Technician for a travel assignment located in Arcadia, California. The position entails providing specialized surgical support during obstetric procedures, including vaginal deliveries and caesarean sections. The role is essential for maintaining efficient clinical operations in a busy unit with high patient volume and multidisciplinary team collaboration.

Job Details:

• Position: Operating Room Obstetrics (OR OBSTETRICS) Technician
• Location: 300 W Huntington Dr, Arcadia, CA 91007
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 07/27/2026
• Duration: Up to 10 weeks, with potential for contract-to-hire
• Number of Positions: 1
• Shift Hours: 1800 0630, with possible variation to 0600 1830 if needed
• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a scrub tech with OB experience; certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; surgical technician certification or program completion preferred.
• Additional Information:
  • No float rotation expected.
  • Reference checks are required.
  • Flu vaccination during flu season (November 1st May 30th) is mandatory, with exemption options available.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is recommended but not mandatory within four months of hire.
  • On-call is not required but available as an option.
  • Travel experience of at least 1 year is preferred but not mandatory.
  • The unit handles vaginal deliveries and caesarean sections and consists of 13 beds, 4 triage areas, and 2 operating rooms, utilizing the Allscripts electronic medical record system.
