Description

Job Summary
The organization is seeking a registered Electroencephalography (EEG) Technologist for a position in Spokane, Washington. This role involves providing inpatient and outpatient EEG services with responsibilities including electrode placement, sleep-deprived EEGs, long-term monitoring, and cerebral death studies. The candidate will support a high-volume facility with 629 beds and will be expected to float between units as needed. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, acute care environment requiring flexible scheduling and adherence to clinical protocols.

Job Details

  • Shift: Days, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Washington or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license, valid Allied license (if applicable), certification as EEG Technologist Registered (EEG T., EEG Cert/Registration), minimum of 1 year of experience in EEG procedures including electrode placement, sleep-deprived EEGs, long-term monitoring, and cerebral death studies, experience with Epic charting system, and ability to work independently in inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ambulatory EEG, sleep EEG, NICU, PICU, and inpatient EEG studies, familiarity with Natus equipment and EMU monitoring.
  • Special Requirements: Support for sleep studies, brain death evaluations, electrode placement, portable recording, and long-term monitoring. Candidates must be able to verify all certifications and meet community hospital experience requirements.
  • Schedule: Working during standard days with shifts scheduled for 12 hours per day.
  • Additional Information: The role requires float capability and flexibility to cover weekend shifts. Applicants should respond to pre-screening questions regarding prior employment at a similar facility, and provide two references covering the last three years.
