Description
Job Summary:
Radiology - General X-Ray Technician position located in Seattle, Washington. This role involves performing a variety of imaging studies including fluoroscopy, surgery, Emergency Department X-rays, inpatient procedures, and portable exams. The technician will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services in a fast-paced clinical environment, following facility protocols and safety procedures.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, from 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM, Saturday through Monday, with call as needed. Minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: BLS (AHA), Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (Registered Radiologic Technologist), Washington Radiologic Technician License, minimum 2 years of experience, with ED X-ray and Surgery imaging skills.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with fluoroscopy, intraoperative imaging, and portable X-rays.
- Additional Information: The department has two X-ray rooms and utilizes GE and Siemens equipment. The radiology team does not include registered radiology assistants or radiologists in-house. No IV starts are required. Scrubs are provided, and a one-week department-specific orientation ( Monday to Friday) is included.
