Job Summary
MRI Technologist Tyler, TX. The organization is seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist to perform a variety of routine and advanced magnetic resonance imaging procedures. The role involves supporting other imaging technologists, ensuring smooth patient flow, and adhering to safety and quality standards. Flexibility to work other shifts or at different campuses may be required. The Technologist must be capable of basic troubleshooting, participating in quality assurance, and providing patient screening.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shift, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM 5:30 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited radiology technology program or equivalent; 1 year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred; basic computer skills; Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT); State licensure if applicable; BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Preferred Qualifications: Additional experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous.
- Additional Information: The MRI Technologist will perform exams, troubleshoot equipment, support patient safety measures, and maintain imaging quality standards. Flexibility in working hours and locations is essential to meet departmental needs. The role involves collaboration with physicians and radiologists, ensuring patient confidentiality, and adhering to policies and regulatory standards.
