Description
Job Summary
MRI Technologist position located in Tyler, Texas. The role involves performing a variety of routine and advanced magnetic resonance imaging procedures. The Technologist will provide support for other imaging professionals, assist with patient screening, and ensure safety and image quality standards are maintained. Flexibility to work across different shifts and campuses as needed is essential.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shift, Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or approved equivalent; one year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred; basic computer skills required; Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) certification from ARRT or ARM is required; state licensure if applicable; BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
- Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The MRI Technologist will perform examinations, troubleshoot equipment, participate in quality assurance activities, and help ensure safety compliance. The candidate must be capable of basic MRI screening, preparing and maintaining equipment, and adhering to organization standards and policies.
