Description

Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer Echo in Knoxville, Tennessee. This position involves performing inpatient and outpatient echocardiography exams, including TEEs and stress echocardiograms, utilizing structured reporting with electronic medical record systems. The role requires immediate availability to start and adherence to specific clinical qualifications to ensure optimal patient care.

Job Details:

  • Position: Ultrasonographer Echo
  • Location: Knoxville, Tennessee
  • Schedule: Days; 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM; minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Start Date: 07/20/2026
  • Required Qualifications: Certification as an Invasive Cardiology Technologist (RCT or RCIS), with at least 3 years of experience performing inpatient and outpatient echo exams, including transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs) and stress echos. Experience with structured heart catheterization laboratory procedures is required. Familiarity with electronic medical records such as Cerner and Change Healthcare for structured reporting is necessary.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with echocardiography involving TEE and stress testing in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with structured procedural reporting.
  • Additional Information:
    • Must include the home address on the submissions.
    • Travelers must be located more than 50 miles from the facility.
    • Do not submit if unable to start ASAP or without all the necessary qualifications.
    • Scrubs gray; no floating required.
    • Must include SSN on the candidate tax page, but do not include SSN in emails or packets.
    • No block scheduling; no 48-hour call option; no floating assignments.
    • All submissions must contain complete and accurate information to prevent rejection.
