Job Summary:
Radiation Therapy Technologist position available in Joplin, Missouri. This role involves delivering prescribed radiation treatments in a cancer care setting, supporting treatment planning with CT simulations, and operating advanced linear accelerator systems. The position offers a standard day shift schedule and is ideal for candidates with prior experience in radiation therapy.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: BLS certification; ARRT (Therapeutic) or higher; 2 years of experience in radiation therapy; proficiency performing CT simulations; knowledge of 3D, IMRT, VMAT, SRS, and SBRT treatment delivery; experience operating Elekta Versa HD linear accelerator and Mosaiq R&V system; excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills
- Preferred Qualifications: ARRT (Radiation Therapy) certification
- Additional Information: The role involves delivering advanced radiation treatments, operating specialized equipment, performing CT simulations to support treatment planning, and collaborating with the radiation oncology team to ensure safe and effective patient care.
