Description

Job Summary:
The X-ray Technologist I is a healthcare professional responsible for obtaining diagnostic radiographic examinations at a technical level that does not require constant supervision. This role involves performing essential functions such as patient positioning, operating radiologic equipment, and ensuring high-quality imaging in a fast-paced clinical environment. The position is located in Hackensack, New Jersey.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Evening shift, 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, open to 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology, and completion of clinical and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) requirements. - Must possess New Jersey State License and be able to meet the requirements for the National Registry and pass the examination. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care facility. - Ability to work independently in emergency room, Trauma, and Operating Room environments. - Experience with portable imaging, pediatric patients, and OR procedures preferred.

  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
