Job Summary:
Inpatient Physical Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy (PT IP) at a rehabilitation facility in Sacramento, California. This role involves providing intensive, patient-centered rehabilitation services to individuals recovering from neurological injuries, trauma, spinal cord injuries, amputations, and orthopedic conditions. The position supports a dedicated team focused on maximizing patient recovery, health, and quality of life through comprehensive therapy programs.
Job Details:
- Location: Sacramento, California, 4875 Broadway
- Shift: Days, 8 hours per shift
- Schedule: 40 hours per week, with flexibility based on unit needs
- Required Qualifications: California State Licensure for Physical Therapy; 2 years of experience in an acute rehabilitation or acute care setting; no specific certifications required; recent experience with trauma, neurological, or orthopedic patient populations preferred
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with inpatient therapy, strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Additional Information: No float requirements. The position involves treating a diverse patient population with a patient ratio of approximately 4-5 patients per day, delivering 6 hours of therapy daily. The typical report time is 8:00 AM. No specific scrub color is mandated. Parking is provided free of charge adjacent to the facility.
