Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Inpatient (Specialty: PT IP) in Anchorage, Alaska. This position involves providing inpatient acute care services on a rotating schedule, including weekends, at an organization that serves a facility with 175 beds and 60 therapy providers. The role requires working 10-hour daytime shifts, four days per week, with a focus on patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Candidates must have zero or more years of experience, hold relevant licensure or certifications, and be willing to work in Anchorage, Alaska.
- Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with inpatient acute care experience and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems are preferred.
- Additional Information:
- Unit serves a 175-bed inpatient facility with 60 therapy staff including physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, physical therapist assistants, and certified occupational therapy assistants.
- Heavy weekend rotation, approximately 2-3 weekends per month, including Saturdays and Sundays.
- Scrubs attire in light green; the role involves a focus on independent work and team collaboration.
