Job Summary
Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) Rural critical access hospital located in a rural setting. This position involves providing inpatient therapy services with flexible scheduling primarily Monday through Friday, approximately 24 hours per week. The role may include floating between units and facilities based on operational needs and therapist capabilities. The position requires a dedicated professional committed to patient care and adaptable to varying hospital census and caseloads.

Job Details

• Schedule: 8 hours shifts, minimum 32 hours per week, starting on 09/08/2026 and ending on 12/08/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license; minimum 0 years of experience; Certifications include BLS.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting system; inpatient acute care experience preferred.
• Additional Information: Position is generally 0.6 FTE with flexibility to adjust toward 0.75 FTE depending on census and operational needs; work mainly on weekdays with some flexibility for alternate schedules. The role may involve floating to other facilities within the organization, including facilities in nearby towns. Candidate must be able to work in a rural/critical access hospital environment with lower census and handle diverse inpatient cases, including post-operative recovery, mobility impairments, and chronic conditions. Candidates should be prepared for interdisciplinary collaboration with teams such as physical therapy, respiratory, radiology, and social services.
