Description
Job Summary:
X-ray Technologist position located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role involves providing diagnostic imaging services in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Candidates will perform a variety of imaging procedures with a focus on surgical and procedural imaging, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Evenings shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week starting from 08/03/2026.
- Required Qualifications: ARRT certification, Wisconsin license, BLS certification, 2 years of acute or surgical imaging experience, valid in the United States.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ERCPs, bronchoscopies, pain clinic procedures, urology cases, and comfort with o-arm systems.
- Additional Information:
- Unit has 5 diagnostic rooms, 2 fluoroscopy rooms, 1 video swallow room, and multiple specialty clinics.
- Census averages 15-20 patients per technician daily.
- Support within the department includes a lead technician on the first shift, 24/7 radiology coverage, and hospitalist/intensivist support.
- Technology includes EPIC electronic medical records, GE and Fuji X-ray equipment, McKesson PACS, GE 9900 and Elites, and Medtronic o-arms.
- No floating required.
- Department orientation is 7 days in the department.
- Scrubs are provided in-house; parking is free.
- The unit is characterized by a fast pace and high patient acuity.
