Description

Job Summary:
The organization is seeking an MRI Technologist in Medford, Oregon. This position involves performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, assisting with patient positioning, and ensuring image quality to support accurate diagnostics.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, Monday through Friday, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Related Bachelor's or Associates degree, current license from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT), in MRI is required. Licensed in MRI by the Oregon Board of Imaging (OBMI) is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. One year experience in a clinical diagnostic hospital setting preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: N/A
  • Additional Information: There will be an orientation period lasting between 2 to 4 weeks on the day shift, with possible back-up call until comfortable working the third shift. The position includes working with specific equipment such as EPIC, PACS, SIEMENS SKYRA 3.0T, and SIEMENS ALTEA 1.5T MRI systems. The unit comprises two rooms with no specific nurse-to-patient ratio. Dress code requires neat, professional medical scrubs. Call may be assigned depending on staffing and department needs, but is not regularly scheduled. The client has a 50-mile local radius restriction, and candidates must be willing to wait for license approval if necessary.
