Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in Walla Walla, Washington. This position involves providing specialized respiratory care with an emphasis on pediatric patients in a short-term acute care facility. The role supports a diverse patient demographic and requires flexibility to float between units as needed.

Job Details

  • Shift Hours: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Washington license in hand, certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); applicable certifications; valid Washington state license in hand; one year of relevant experience
  • Special Requirements: PALS certification required, NRP preferred; Washington license in hand
  • Float: No float rotation required
  • Additional Information: Position entails working with neonates, infants, and pediatric patients. Responsibilities include ventilator management, high flow therapy, high-risk deliveries, and other critical pediatric respiratory interventions. Will be working in a facility that supports a variety of complex procedures, with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory therapy, physical therapy, radiology, and social services. The role involves managing ventilator care, performing intubations, and troubleshooting high-pressure alarms, with a focus on pediatric respiratory needs. Orientation hours are 24.
