Job Summary:
Oklahoma City - Dietitian - A healthcare organization is seeking a qualified dietitian to provide comprehensive nutritional care to patients. The role involves developing, implementing, and monitoring medical nutrition therapy, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and educating patients and staff on nutrition-related topics. This position is vital in ensuring patient safety, nutritional well-being, and supporting the overall quality of care within the facility.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift with 8 hours per day and a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with major studies in Food and Nutrition related field; current state licensure/certification, if required by state; current registration by the Commission on Dietetics Registration; one (1) year of work experience in a facility setting with clinical responsibilities or equivalent.
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
- Additional Information: The dietitian will perform nutrition assessments, develop and monitor nutrition support regimens, collaborate with speech therapy and medical staff, promote patient and staff safety, and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and performance improvement programs. The role requires maintaining current professional registration and engaging in continuing education to stay up-to-date with nutritional practices.
