Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) position located in Twin Falls, Idaho. This role involves providing specialized respiratory care to a diverse patient population ranging from neonatal to geriatric across inpatient and emergency care settings. The position requires commitment to safety, clinical excellence, and team collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with weekend work as needed. The schedule allows for self-scheduling and block scheduling options.
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications include ACLS, BLS Certification, Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC, PALS, Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) via NBRC, Stable; minimum of 1 year of experience; Idaho state license required; location outside of 50 miles radius of the facility.
  • Preferred Qualifications: NICU experience is mandatory. Experience with ABGs, breathing treatments, BiPAP, CPAP, vents, and bedside bronch assistance is required.
  • Additional Information: The role involves assisting with intubation (not performing independently), drawing and analyzing ABGs, and managing respiratory therapies including ventilators and high-frequency devices. A team lead or charge therapist is always available on each shift, and floating to other units (ICU, floors, NICU, ER) is required. Orientation is one week based on experience. Mandatory attendance at monthly department meetings.
  • Facility-specific notes: The position covers inpatient and emergency room areas. The facility uses EPIC charting system. This assignment is for an acute care setting with a trauma level 3 designation.
