Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) Hackensack, New Jersey. This position involves providing specialized pediatric respiratory care under the supervision of the director of respiratory services, utilizing advanced therapy and supportive equipment. The role requires delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in a hospital setting, with a focus on cardiopulmonary management, ventilator management, and patient education.
Job Details:
- Certifications & Education: Graduate of an accredited program in Respiratory Therapy; current and valid New Jersey Respiratory Care license; current NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification; BLS AHA, ACLS, PALS required.
- Experience: 1+ year of recent work as a licensed RRT; 1+ years of ICU experience; previous ventilator experience.
- Schedule: Night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, 3X12 hours per week. The schedule includes every other weekend and designated holidays.
- Address: 30 Prospect Avenue, Hackensack, New Jersey 07601.
- Additional Information: Willingness to float to adult ICU areas, intermediate care, and basic intermediate care floors. The contract duration is 13 weeks.
