Job Summary:
The X-ray Technologist role is based in Neptune, New Jersey. This position involves performing radiographic duties in an operative setting, ensuring high-quality imaging with proper radiation safety practices. The technician will support surgical teams by preparing and administering contrast media, verifying patient identity, and executing technical procedures aligned with physicians' prescriptions.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Evening shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with 8 hours per shift and a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology; valid New Jersey State License; BLS certification; at least 1 year of experience; proficiency in C-Arm and portable machines; excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Preferred Qualifications: A minimum of two (2) years of experience as an OR X-ray technologist in a high-volume trauma setting; proficiency in the use of C-Arm and O-Arm equipment.
• Additional Information: The role requires scrubs, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to perform complex radiographic procedures, including contrast media administration and radiation protection. Fluency in clear communication is essential, along with the capability to handle multiple responsibilities within a dynamic operative environment.
