Job Summary:
Mammographer position located in Falmouth, Massachusetts. This role involves performing mammographic exams and bone density procedures in accordance with regulatory standards to aid in the detection of breast abnormalities and breast cancer. The candidate will ensure high-quality imaging, maintain clinical documentation, and provide exceptional patient care throughout examinations.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, 8 hours shifts, minimum 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Ability to read, write, and communicate in English; high school diploma or GED; graduate of a JCERT Accredited Radiography Program; certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; current BLS certification; active Massachusetts State license for Radiology and Mammography; proficiency in bone density examinations; completed 8 hours of didactic and/or clinical training in Digital Breast Tomosynthesis (3D) and Digital Mammography (2D) in compliance with MQSA and ACR standards.
• Preferred Qualifications: Advanced level ARRT Bone Density Operator certification.
• Additional Information: The role involves ensuring equipment functionality, following MQSA and ACR policies for breast imaging, maintaining accurate records, and participating in continuing education to stay current with industry standards. Responsibilities also include patient education, technical evaluation of images, quality control tests, equipment maintenance, and ensuring compliance with infection control policies.
