Job Summary
Burlington, Vermont This assignment for a Polysomnographer involves providing sleep study services in a clinical setting. The position requires a minimum of two years of experience as a PSG technologist with expertise in sleep study scoring, data acquisition, troubleshooting, mask fittings, patient education, and bedside manners. Experience with Epic documentation from the past two years is mandatory, and the role includes working nights from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, every weekend, for a duration of 13 to 16 weeks.
Job Details
- Shift Timing: Nights, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, working every weekend
- Schedule: Monday through Sunday, with bi-weekly orientations on Monday
- Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of sleep technology experience, proficiency in sleep study scoring, data acquisition, troubleshooting, bedside manners, mask fittings, patient education, Epic experience within the past 2 years, and successful completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sleep Technology Program or an Associates degree in a science field.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in a science-related field and prior travel or teaching hospital experience (not required but preferred).
- Additional Information:
- Assignment duration: 13-16 weeks
- No block schedules or scheduling restrictions
- Reliable transportation required, vehicle with all-season or snow tires recommended during November to April
- All employment gaps over 90 days should be explained
- Complete employment history including bed count, EMR, facility type, etc., is required for submission
