Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) San Francisco, CA. This position involves performing therapeutic, diagnostic, and emergency respiratory care procedures for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients within a diverse healthcare environment. The role requires providing assessment, treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory insufficiencies or abnormalities, exercising sound judgment and developing clinical skills to implement patient care plans based on physician orders and diagnosis. The Respiratory Therapist will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and support pediatric patient services.

Job Details

Schedule: 3 x 12 night shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid California State Respirtory Therapist (RT) Licensure, NBRC certification, minimum of 3 years of experience as an Respiratory Therapist, experience with adult and pediatric critical care, charting system experience in Epic, and BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel experience, charge experience, and experience in LTAC, trauma level I or II, or community hospitals.
Additional Information: The position requires working on a pediatric and adult medical-surgical unit, with interdisciplinary respiratory services support. A commitment to completing onboarding labs within 3-5 days, providing 2 references within the past year, and compliance with all onboarding and verification processes is mandatory. The assignment begins on 08/10/2026, with mandatory module completion during orientation.
