Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist in Brick, New Jersey. This role involves assisting physicians with all invasive cardiac and peripheral diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including temporary and permanent pacemaker placement. The technologist will support circulatory support devices such as Impella and balloon pumps, ensuring accurate procedures and patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift, 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM, 40 hours per week, 4 days per week, with weekend and holiday requirements, and on-call duties totaling a minimum of 7 shifts per week and up to 10 shifts maximum.
• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory or invasive procedure area in an acute care hospital; experience with permanent pacemaker placement preferred; use of Impella and balloon pump required; current BLS and radiology certification; graduate of an accredited cardiovascular technologist, radiologic technologist, or applied science program; and at least two years of prior experience in a cardiac vascular laboratory.
• Preferred Qualifications: Mac laboratory experience and familiarity with EPIC system are preferred.
• Skills: Strong communication skills, proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office or Google Suite, and experience with hemodynamic monitoring and sterile techniques.
• Certifications: AHA Basic Health Care Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 3 months of employment, and passing the Registered Cardiovascular Intervention Specialist (RCIS) exam or radiologic technologist license within one year of hire. A radiologic technologist license or ARRT certification are preferred.
