Job Summary:
Radiology Specialist Assistant in Interventional Radiology located in Watertown, New York. This position involves providing patient care services under the supervision of a physician, assisting with radiologic procedures, and supporting patient assessment and management. The role requires delivering high-quality, compassionate care across all age groups in a clinical setting.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid certification in radiology assisting or related field, relevant education or degree, must be located within a 100-mile radius of Watertown, NY, with at least 0 years of experience
• Key Responsibilities: Provide medical services within scope of practice, perform patient assessments, assist with fluoroscopic procedures including barium studies, joint injections, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and biopsy procedures using ultrasound or CT guidance, maintain patient flow, support emergency responses, ensure compliance with hospital policies, and maintain patient confidentiality
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with fluoroscopic and ultrasound-guided procedures, ability to work effectively in a clinical team, strong patient assessment skills
• Additional Information: The role involves supporting the continuum of care through clinical expertise, patient assessment, and collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols.
