Description

Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer General in Cambridge, Massachusetts. This position involves performing general ultrasound procedures across inpatient and outpatient settings within a healthcare facility. The role requires proficiency in various ultrasound specialties, including obstetrics, vascular, small parts, and pediatrics, and includes the flexibility to float among multiple site locations.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications in American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) and the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Radiology Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), with at least 3 years of experience in performing general ultrasound procedures.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, specifically EPIC.
  • Additional Information: Candidate must be comfortable floating to all three sites: Cambridge, Somerville, and Everett. Ultrasound expertise should include general, small parts, vascular (lower and upper extremity venous), obstetrics (fetal survey, first through third trimester), and pediatric procedures (hips, spine, head, pylorus, intussusception). A current drivers license with matching address, up-to-date flu vaccination during the season, and RTO preferences should be included at submission.
