Job Summary:
The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) inpatient position is situated in Lawrence, Massachusetts. This role involves partnering with residents and healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive Speech Language Pathology services aimed at maximizing residents' function and independence. The position requires evaluating, treating, and collaborating on communication and swallowing disorders within a multidisciplinary team.
Job Details:
- Shift: Days, 12 hours shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Masters degree, Speech & Language Pathologist license, Certification of Clinical Competence, and must be licensed and certified to practice in the state of Massachusetts.
- Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours weekly.
- Additional Information: Performs evaluative and therapeutic procedures to improve communication disorders and dysphagia, including modified barium swallow. Develops and modifies treatment plans, documents all interactions, and provides education to residents and caregivers. Ensures compliance with reimbursement regulations and maintains professional development through memberships and continuing education. Coordinates Speech and Language services coverage and maintains clinical areas in cleanliness and infection control protocols.
