Job Summary
The Nebraska-based organization is seeking a qualified MRI Technologist for a full-time position working day shifts. The role involves performing quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures under the supervision of a licensed radiologist, supporting departmental teaching and research initiatives. The candidate will be expected to communicate effectively, multi-task efficiently, and handle challenging interactions professionally, contributing to the overall operational success of the imaging department.
Job Details
- Location: Omaha, NE
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of MRI experience, ARRT (MRI) registration, minimum 1 year of Level I Trauma Hospital experience, experience with Phillips MRI equipment, proficient in computer systems including basic navigation and email use, BLS (AHA) certification, Certified MRI Technologist - ARRT (MR)
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information:
- Non-billable orientation hours: 12 hours (guaranteed hours will not apply during orientation)
- Call-off policy: Client can call off up to 36 hours every 13 weeks, with a 2-week notice possible
- Equipment utilized includes Philips MRI Scanner, GE Scanner, Epic for EMR, McKesson for imagining
- Bed size/number of rooms: 7 MRI scanners on site
- Dress code: Red uniforms
- Cancellation policy: 36 hours/13 weeks; client can give 2 weeks notice
- Charting system: EPIC
- BSN required: No
- License to submit: Yes, willing to wait
- Trauma Level: 1
- Care setting: Acute division
- Shift notes: Monday-Friday, 07:30-16:00; call required; holidays scheduled as needed
- Required certifications: BLS (AHA), Certified MRI Technologist - ARRT (MR)
