Description

Job Summary:
The organization is seeking an MRI Technologist for a position in Nebraska. This role involves performing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures under the supervision of a qualified radiologist. The candidate will participate in teaching and research activities related to MRI, demonstrating active engagement within the department. The position requires effective communication skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

  • Location: Omaha, Nebraska
  • Schedule: Evenings, 10:30 PM to 1:00 AM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week starting on 07/27/2026
  • Required Qualifications:
    • Minimum of 5 years MRI experience
    • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) MRI registration
    • Minimum 1 year Level I Trauma Hospital experience
    • Experience with Phillips MRI equipment
    • Proficient with computers and email applications
    • BLS (AHA) certification
    • Certified MRI Technologist - ARRT (MR)
  • Additional Information:
    • Performs MRI procedures using Philips MRI scanners and GE scanners
    • Utilizes EPIC for electronic medical records and McKesson for imaging
    • Requires effective communication skills, ability to multi-task, and handle challenging interactions
    • Dress code includes red uniforms
    • Call required, with 36 hours/13 weeks cancellation policy; client can give 2 weeks notice
    • Must be willing to wait for license submission and holds a trauma level 1 designation
    • Shift notes: 1430-0100 Thursday to Sunday; holidays as needed
