Description

Job Summary:
The location is in Washington, District of Columbia. This X-ray technologist position involves safely performing X-ray studies on inpatients and outpatients. The role requires proficiency in operating fixed, portable, and C-Arm X-ray machines. Candidates must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and hold CPR certification through the American Heart Association (AHA). A high school diploma or GED is required, along with two years of experience in diagnostic or fluoroscopy imaging procedures.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, ARRT registration, CPR certification through AHA, 2 years of experience in diagnostic/fluoroscopy imaging procedures, ability to operate fixed, portable, and C-Arm X-ray machines.
  • Additional Information: If a candidate has previously worked in any capacity for any facility within the Johns Hopkins health system (including staff, PRN, or travel roles), this must be noted on the coversheet and within their work history for verification before an offer is extended. Candidates must be gone for at least one full year before applying as a traveler if they have prior employment in Johns Hopkins facilities.
