Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Pediatrics in The Woodlands, Texas. This outpatient clinical role involves planning, evaluating, and implementing developmentally appropriate occupational therapy treatment programs for patients from neonates to adulthood. The position requires completing patient evaluations, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Location: The Woodlands, Texas
• Schedule: Evening shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy, active OT license in Texas, at least 2 years of pediatric, women's health, orthopedics, or sports medicine clinical experience, or 1 year of residency in these specialties. Experience in outpatient pediatric settings and successful previous performance ratings rated as exceptional or consistently exceptional.
• Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric experience in outpatient environments, knowledge of rehabilitative care for patients with acute and chronic conditions, and understanding of development from neonate to adult.
• Additional Information: The role involves managing a clinical caseload focusing on outpatient pediatric therapy, including developing therapy plans, assessing patient response, and recommending adaptive equipment. The position offers an onsite setting with flexibility for remote note review when feasible. The work hours are most likely to be either 10 or 12-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, with some flexibility depending on coverage needs.
