Palo Alto, California The organization is seeking a Mammographer to perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures. Job Details

• Shift Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Mammography (CRT and Mammography Certification), BLS - Basic Life Support, and a minimum of 0 years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology related to ultrasound and mammography procedures, and proficiency in computer systems used in medical imaging.
• Additional Information: Assists with patient questionnaire completion, handles all related paperwork efficiently, and supports ancillary functions such as obtaining outside films for comparison. Performs quality assurance on digital mammography equipment, develops mammographic film, and evaluates radiographs for diagnostic quality. Positions patients and assists with imaging, including routine and non-routine views. Utilizes digital mammography equipment, performs maintenance, troubleshooting, and calls for service when necessary. Explains procedures clearly to patients to ensure cooperation and maintains safety standards related to ultrasound procedures and equipment.
