Job Summary:
The location is in California. This Radiologic Technologist (X-ray Technologist) position involves performing a variety of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures under general supervision. The role includes operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, following established protocols, and assisting radiologists during procedures. The position emphasizes quality imaging, equipment troubleshooting, and patient preparation.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Rotating shift, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Current license/certification including CRT, BLS Basic Life Support, ARRT-RTR Radiography, and RTF Fluoroscopy.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, imaging techniques, radiation safety, and experience working with RIS, PACS, and x-ray equipment.
  • Additional Information: Responsible for preparing patients, operating imaging and fluoroscopic equipment, troubleshooting technical issues, and following radiation safety protocols 'AS LOW AS REASONABLY PRACTICABLE' (ALARA). Participates in orientation and training of new staff, students, and residents. Performs image processing and ensures high-quality diagnostic images are produced following departmental standards.
