Description

Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a qualified Ultrasonographer Echo to fill a position in Sacramento, California. This role involves providing adult and pediatric echocardiography services in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The candidate will perform various ultrasound procedures, with potential call shifts and rotating weekend responsibilities.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, totaling a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications include ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) and BLS (Basic Life Support). The candidate must have at least 3 years of experience in Ultrasonographer Echo. Education and licensure requirements include valid certification and a current state license. Experience with adult and pediatric patients, as well as skills in PACS, Philips ultrasound equipment, and portable studies, are necessary.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with pediatric complex congenital cases, trauma Level I or II experience, and familiarity with Epic charting system or community hospital settings are preferred.
  • Additional Information: The position involves working with neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The daily census ranges from 6-10 patients. The role may include call shifts from 7:00 PM to 6:30 AM and rotating weekends, approximately every 4th to 6th weekend depending on staffing. Candidates must comply with onboarding requirements, complete labs within 3-5 days, and provide a 7-year work history verification. All compliance documents are due 10 days prior to the start date.
