Job Summary:
Pharmacist Inpatient position located in Lancaster, Ohio. This role involves providing pharmaceutical care within a hospital setting, including medication monitoring, evaluation, and ensuring the quality of medication use. The position requires working seven consecutive nights on a 7-days on/7-days off schedule, with the workweek running from Thursday night to Thursday morning.

Job Details:

• Shift Time: Nights, from 11:30 PM to 6:00 AM
• Schedule: 7-days on / 7-days off, with work weeks running from Thursday night through Thursday morning
• Required Qualifications: Must have a valid Ohio Pharmacy License in good standing with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy, hospital pharmacy experience preferred, Bachelor of Science (B.S.) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an American Colleges of Pharmacy, and 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience.

• Position Responsibilities:
  • Review, interpret, process, and validate medication orders and prescriptions accurately
  • Monitor and manage patient medication therapy for therapeutic appropriateness and effectiveness
  • Maintain departmental policies, quality improvement programs, and documentation compliant with regulatory standards
  • Communicate drug information effectively to patients, families, and healthcare providers
  • Participate in medication management during medical emergencies and coordinate pharmacy technician activities
