Job Summary:
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position is located in Birmingham, Alabama. This role involves supporting the catheterization lab during diverse cardiac procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to clinical standards. The technologist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment, contributing to high-quality cardiac care.
Job Details:
- Shift: Days, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS). RCIS certification is preferred; candidates not certified must have completed at least 10 assignments as a Cath Lab Tech. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a catheterization lab is required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with IABP, Impella, Laser, Shockwave, and Phillips imaging systems. Merging hemo experience is also preferred.
- Schedule: Days, with 10-hour shifts totaling at least 40 hours weekly.
- Additional Information: The position requires a team-oriented candidate who is flexible, proactive, accountable, and timely. Attire should include professional scrubs in Ceil Blue or Royal Blue, following CMS and Ohio standards.
