Description
Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Cardiovascular Laboratory (IR CL) technician position located in Peoria, Illinois. This role involves supporting interventional radiology procedures within a high-volume laboratory environment, requiring technical proficiency and adherence to procedural protocols.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shifts, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: ARRT certification, BLS certification, active Illinois license or confirmation that the application has been initiated, a minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional radiology or a related field, and submission of the last four digits of the clinician's SSN.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with Phillips monitors, EPIC electronic medical record system, and familiarity with vascular, neuro, and drain patient types.
- Float: No.
- Additional Information: The position supports a lab that handles 20-30 cases daily within pre-operative and phase 2 recovery suites/labs. Responsibilities include scrubbing, passing supplies, setting up, and taking down procedure rooms. The unit operates under a department-specific orientation of 3-5 days. The campus enforces a drug-free policy, with a response time for call-back of 30 minutes. Shifts may include call, weekend, and holiday coverage, with specific hours for charge RN coverage.
