Job Summary
Interventional Radiology (INTRA CL) Technologist position located in the healthcare setting. The role involves performing interventional radiology procedures, assisting physicians, and ensuring patient care quality within the clinical environment.
Job Details
- Position Description: IR technologist responsible for performing interventional radiology procedures and assisting medical doctors during procedures.
- Required qualifications include graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology, American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, at least 2 years of recent experience in interventional radiology or EVOR, and experience with Cerner electronic health records system.
- Schedule: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with call responsibilities, working 40 hours per week.
- Experience requirement: 2 years of recent experience within the specialty.
- Preferred qualifications include training or experience in general vascular coronary angiography and special procedures, as well as prior catheterization experience.
- Additional information: Must work two major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve).
- Certifications: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology and AHA BLS certification.
