Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a qualified Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist for a 13-week assignment at a healthcare facility in Gainesville, Florida. This role involves performing diagnostic MRI procedures in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on cardiac and neuroimaging, using Siemens MRI equipment. The position requires adaptability to float across various MRI locations on campus and adherence to safety and operational protocols.
Job Details:
- Location: Gainesville, Florida
- Position Title: MRI Technologist
- Shift: 12-Hour Nights, from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with a block schedule on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
- Schedule: 36 hours per week
- Start Date: 08/03/2026
- End Date: 11/07/2026
- Travel Required: Yes
- Float: Float rotation may be required to all MRI locations on campus
- Required Qualifications:
- Certifications: ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT
- Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience required, including hospital setting with critically ill patients; Siemens MRI experience with XA and B platforms such as Avanto, Verio, Prisma, Aera, Sola; no employment gaps greater than 30 days without explanation; experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Certifications: BLS required
- Location: Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified
- Additional Information:
- Responsibilities include performing diagnostic and treatment MRI procedures, collaborating with team members, and ensuring safety compliance
- Must have experience with Siemens MRI systems and clinical procedures involving critically ill patients
- Must adhere to hospital policies including vaccination requirements for seasonal influenza, with exemption options available
- No permeable shoes allowed during shifts
- FL AHCA processing may take up to 14 business days
- No RTO (Request for Time Off) during the first 2 weeks of the assignment; maximum of 8 days RTO for the 13-week duration
