Description
Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (Pediatric Specialty) in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role involves providing respiratory care for a diverse patient population across multiple hospital departments within a large, Level I Trauma teaching hospital. The position requires adaptability to floating between different facilities within the specified region and adheres to hospital protocols and standards of care.
Job Details:
- Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP; Respiratory Therapist (RT) licensure or CRT; minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience within a resource team setting; acceptable to first-time travelers.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with IPPV/NIPPV ventilator support; pediatric respiratory care experience.
- Float: Float rotation may be required to all facilities within the specified region, including support for mid-shift transportation between sites.
- Additional Information: Orientation includes 2 days of departmental and facility-specific training. Scrub color is royal blue. Parking is free. The role involves providing respiratory care for all patients throughout the facility, utilizing equipment such as ventilators, on an EMR system (EPIC).
