Description
Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RRT) in Chicago, Illinois. This local assignment involves night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a schedule of 36 hours per week. The role supports pediatric critical care units, requiring strong acute care pediatric RRT experience.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, working every other weekend, with orientations held every Monday.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications include BLS, PALS, NRP (for NICU assignments), and Illinois RRT license. A minimum of 2+ years of pediatric critical care RRT experience in PICU, NICU, or CCU within the current year is required. Recent acute care pediatric RRT experience is necessary.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in multiple ICU areas such as NICU, CCU, PICU, and acute care floors.
- Additional Information: The candidate must adhere to dress code of scrubs in any color, capable of working in various pediatric critical care environments, with EMR documentation via EPIC.
- Submission Requirements: Illinois RRT license must be included in the candidates submission packet. Vaccination documentation for flu and COVID-19, including doses and lot numbers, must be provided at submission.
