Description
Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer Echo in Butte, Montana. This position involves performing a variety of ultrasound procedures utilizing high-frequency sound waves to evaluate internal organs and vessels for diagnostic purposes. The role includes preparing patients and exam rooms, obtaining clinical histories, explaining procedures, assessing patient needs, ensuring quality imaging, and coordinating documentation for physician review.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent; American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) Sonography (S) or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) registry; RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or RCS (Registered Cardiac Sono); candidates must obtain registry within 18 months of hire; BLS (CPR) certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Associate's degree.
- Responsibilities include reviewing patient histories, explaining procedures, assessing patient status, ensuring quality images, coordinating exam documentation, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
- Must be able to transport patients as needed and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
