Job Details:

• Position: Respiratory Therapist Registered (Specialty: RT PEDS)
• Location: Nashville, Tennessee
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week

• Required Qualifications: Certifications related to respiratory therapy, relevant licensure, and a minimum of 0 years of experience. Education requirements are associated with professional licensing standards.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with pediatric patients and proficiency in advanced respiratory procedures are desirable.
• Additional Information: The respiratory therapist will provide respiratory treatments including operating ventilatory equipment (both invasive and non-invasive), administering medications via aerosol and nebulizer devices, performing chest physiotherapy, suctioning procedures, and conducting pulmonary function tests. Responsibilities include monitoring patient responses, assisting with procedures such as bronchoscopy and chest tube placement, performing tracheostomy care, and adhering to policies for laboratory and diagnostic testing. The role also involves maintaining accurate documentation, communicating with medical staff, and ensuring equipment functionality and safety.
