Job Summary
Pinnole, California The organization is seeking a Mammographer to perform a variety of technical activities related to screening and diagnostic mammography procedures. The role involves assisting radiologists with mammography exams, ensuring compliance with regulatory mandates, performing quality assurance on digital equipment, and supporting patient education in a teaching and research environment. Job Details

• Scheduling: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid mammography certification, Registered Radiologic Technologist (CRT), current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, California state licensure, minimum of 1 year of experience in mammography, comprehensive knowledge of mammography procedures, anatomy, physiology, and pathology, and experience with digital mammography equipment and systems including PACS.
• Preferred Qualifications: Ability to bill complex procedures and supplies accurately, excellent communication skills, ability to work effectively within a team, and knowledge of safety principles related to ultrasound procedures and equipment.
• Additional Information: The role requires assisting with patient positioning, equipment operation, quality control, specimen handling, and performing both routine and non-routine mammography views. The candidate must explain procedures clearly to patients, utilize all digital mammography equipment, troubleshoot, and perform maintenance as needed. Flexibility to handle ancillary functions such as obtaining outside films and assisting with biopsies is required.
