Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Mammographer for a position in the MAMMO (Mammography) specialty in their healthcare facility. This role involves performing screening and diagnostic mammography procedures, assisting radiologists with various biopsy and localization procedures, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory mandates related to mammography. The Mammographer will also handle quality assurance on digital imaging equipment and support patient education and documentation processes.

Job Details

• Position: Mammographer in the MAMMO (Mammography) specialty, with an expected start date of 08/31/2026 and end date of 11/29/2026.
• Schedule: Day shift, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required qualifications: Licenses or certifications including CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist) and Mammography Certification, Basic Life Support (BLS). Education requirements, including licensure and experience, meet the following: minimum of 1 year of experience in mammography and a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Responsibilities include assisting patients with mammography procedures, handling paperwork, operating digital mammography equipment, performing quality control, and collaborating with radiologists on procedures such as wire placements, ultrasound-guided biopsies, and specimen collections.
• Skills and knowledge required encompass anatomy, physiology, pathology related to ultrasound, radiographic and fluoroscopic techniques, ultrasound equipment, safety principles, and effective communication.
• Preferred qualifications and additional information must include the ability to accurately bill complex procedures, operate imaging equipment, and follow detailed instructions.
