Job Summary
Kentucky-based healthcare provider is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist specializing in PET/CT imaging for a full-time assignment. The position involves performing imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, and delivering high-quality diagnostic images in various clinical settings such as outpatient centers, mobile units, or hospital environments.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift with a minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 08/03/2026.
- Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; Certification in Nuclear Medicine through NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) or ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - RT-N); Kentucky State License for Radiation; Kentucky State Licensure for Nuclear Medicine; AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; 1-2 years PET/CT imaging experience; adequate training in Nuclear Medicine procedures; valid state drivers license, if applicable.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include pre-screening patients for contraindications, aseptic injection technique, radiation safety and documentation, producing diagnostic images, effective communication with patients and radiologists, training new technologists and/or patients, troubleshooting scanner and peripheral equipment, and working in diverse clinical environments. Local travel may be required.
- Comments: The assignment offers all-inclusive rates, with specific rates for different shifts, holidays, and overtime, within 80 miles of the listed locations.
