Job Summary:
This position is for a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (Cardiac Cath Lab Tech) located in Hudson, Florida. The role involves supporting interventional cardiology procedures, including TAVR, Mitral Clip, carotid stenting, and other cardiac interventions, in a busy cath lab equipped with advanced technology. The ideal candidate will possess the skills necessary to perform both diagnostic and interventional procedures efficiently in a team-oriented environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Candidates must have experience in Cardiac Catheterization, Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM), and Peripheral Vascular procedures; valid certification and active licensure are required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with TAVR, Mitral and Tri Clips, EP/ABL procedures, and knowledge of specific equipment such as Shockwave, Laser, CSI, Penumbra, Impella, Rotoblator is preferred.
• Additional Information:
  • Bed Capacity: 309 beds in the facility.
  • Unit Features: 5 procedure suites in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
  • Staffing: 1 director, 1 CNC, approximately 4.6 staff RNs, 5 technicians.
  • Equipment includes Shockwave, Laser, CSI, Penumbra, IABP, Impella, Rotoblator.
  • EMR systems used are MacLab and Meditech.
  • The unit performs diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including Pacers, ICDs, Watchman devices, TAVR, and EP procedures.
  • Staff works every other weekend and holidays on rotation, with a patient-to-staff ratio of 1 PT: 3-4 staff members.
