Description

Job Summary:
The Ultrasonographer Echo position is located in Tacoma, Washington. This role involves providing specialized ultrasound imaging services for vascular cases, including DVT, carotid, and brachial assessments. The position offers a dynamic environment within a vascular ultrasound department, emphasizing quality patient care and technical expertise.

Job Details:

Shift: Days, working 10-hour shifts from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Wednesday through Tuesday, with a rotating schedule and week off every other week.
Schedule: 70 hours bi-weekly with a 7/70 schedule.
Required Qualifications: A minimum of 1 year of experience in ultrasonography, appropriate licensure, National Certification, and certifications such as BLS. Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, specifically Epic and Associated Software, is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Philips Iu22 equipment and ability to transport patients.
Support within the Department: Key leads across modalities assist with workflow questions, and a house supervisor is available during weekends for support.
Technology/Equipment: Use of Philips Iu22 ultrasound machine; experience with EMR (Epic and Associated Software) preferred.
Unit Orientation: 1-2 days of onboarding as needed, with coordination for vascular technologist onboarding.
Additional Information: The department is small, highly connected, and maintains a positive environment. The unit covers work across various modalities, with a focus on vascular ultrasound procedures. No call or holiday rotation is required.
